Everything you need to know before attending games at Keeter Stadium
What is the schedule for the 2025 ALWS?
Games begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 14 and end with the Championship game at 7:00 PM
on Tuesday, August 20.
Where can fans purchase whole series tickets?
General Admission whole-series tickets are available for $35 at American Legion World Series Headquarters, 117-A West Warren Street, Shelby, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays once ticket sales dates are announced. Purchases may be made with cash, check, credit card or debit card. Fans may call 704-466-3103 during those same hours to purchase tickets over the phone with a credit or debit card. Fans may purchase General Admission tickets online with a credit card at www.alws.us once sales dates are announced. There are limited Reserved and Box Seats available through the ALWS office for 2025; these seats are not available for online purchase. There are no rocking chair seats available.
Are there discounts for senior citizens or military personnel?
No, there are no discounts. Senior Citizens Day will be Thursday, August 14, and anyone 55 and older can attend the games on that day at no charge. Military Appreciation Day will be Saturday, August 17, and veterans and active military personnel can attend games on that day at no charge.
Where do fans park? Is there a charge for parking?
All parking will be free and at Keeter Stadium. Shuttles are used to transport fans from the parking areas to the stadium and from the stadium to the parking areas; the shuttles run constantly during all games.
Are handicap seating and parking available?
Yes. Parking for handicapped fans requires a state-issued plaque or tag. Seating for handicapped fans is available to the right and left of the Press Box. Ushers are available for anyone needing help with handicapped seating.
What radio/TV stations will cover the ALWS?
The games played Thursday-Sunday will be streamed live on ESPN3. The Semifinals on Monday and the Championship game on Tuesday will air live on national TV (ESPNU). To view games on ESPN3, register on the ESPN website. KTC Broadcasting will carry audio of the games locally on WOHS 1390 AM and in the internet at www.ktcbroadcasting.com.
What time do the gates open for each game?
The gates open 90 minutes prior to the first game of the day, except for the first day when gates open two hours before the first game.
Is re-entry allowed during a game?
Yes, but anyone with an Adult or Student Day Pass much get a wristband upon entering the gate initially and show it at the gate for re-entry.
Is there an ATM on site?
Yes, credit and debit cards are also welcome for tickets, souvenirs and concessions.
Are tents and/or umbrellas, stadium seats or folding chairs allowed inside Keeter Stadium?
No tents or umbrellas, but a large majority of seats are covered by a canopy. Stadium seats are allowed, folding chairs are allowed for handicapped fans, but only in the designated handicapped seating sections.
What items are not permitted in Keeter Stadium?
Bottles and/or cans
Outside food or drink
Large bags or backpacks
Frisbees or beach balls
Umbrellas
Laser pointers
Noise making devices or any kind (e.g.: bells, whistles, horns)
Fireworks
Illegal drugs and alcohol
Weapons of any king, including lawfully concealed firearms
Commercial signs or banners without prior approval from American Legion World Series officials
Cameras are permitted for still photography and video for personal use only.
Are folding chairs allowed in Keeter Stadium?
Fan enthusiasm and support enhance the sport of baseball and active cheering is encouraged. The American Legion Baseball program is dedicated to providing a safe and positive environment for both players and fans.

You are requested to be considerate at all times of the feelings of the players and those fans seated around you. We hope this request is all that is necessary.

The American Legion World Series will enforce this request in the following manner for ticket holders as well as ALWS volunteers and staff.

The use of artificial noisemakers will not be permitted. Persons using any artificial noisemakers will be asked to stop. A second violation will result in removal of the violators from the ballpark.

Persons entering the playing field or throwing or attempting to throw objects on the field will be subjected to immediate ejection and criminal prosecution.

Persons using obscene or abusive language or engaging in any other antisocial conduct offensive to those around them will be asked to cease this conduct. If the offensive conduct persists, those involved will be subject to ejection from the premises.

Possession and/or concealing a firearm or other deadly weapon while on school grounds will result in ejection from the premises and possible criminal prosecution.

Possession or use of illegal drugs or alcohol will result in ejection from the premises and possible criminal prosecution.

Smoking as well as use of any tobacco or ‘vaping’ product are not permitted in Keeter Stadium or anywhere else on school premises.

Failure to follow the instructions of Keeter Stadium personnel will result in ejection from the premises.

The American Legion World Series Executive Committee or their designee reserves the right to deem behavior or actions to be in violation of these rules and may take corrective action as deemed appropriate.
Such actions may include:

a warning;

ejection from the property;
-
arrest; or
-
loss of ticket privileges.
